Time Travel Story Passport: Our Winter Project at Little Haus

We dreamed and planned with our neighbors, gathered the stories of the village, treasure hunted for locally milled paper at the Historical Society and ventured to the Cincinnati Type and Print Museum and now our passports are being printed! This German Village Christmas Walk, we will travel through time and the village collecting stamps and stories in passports printed with antique printing presses on Hamilton milled paper! We will find out about inventors, collectors, makers and every day life a hundred years ago. The Walk is always the first Sunday in December. This year it is December 4th, from 12:00 – 5:00pm.

You can even print your own Christmas Bookmark on the day! So come make a passport, take a ride in the horse drawn carriage, pet some animals, make some crafts and hear some music in German Village. Get your passport, photo and bookmark at Little Haus Bookery and Creative workshop at 311 Village St.

OH! And I nearly forgot! We will be sharing the story we wrote for the Christmas Walk last year, “The Shoemaker’s Song,” along with a story by famous Hamilton author, William Dean Howells, called “Christmas Everyday.”

And yes, Little Haus is still dressed up like a Cuckoo Clock from last year’s walk. We just loved it so much we kept it.
